Original air dates April and May of 1975. Four part serial.
The Time Ring takes the crew back to the space station where the TARDIS is. Except the TARDIS isn’t. They immediately find a dead body. No, bodies.
Doctor et al look around, finding dead all over the outer ring. They set off alarms.
Weird aliens on an astroid call the beacon for help, gets killed by others. Cybermen are a definite threat.
We saw a cybermat on the Beacon. It bites a comm operator, leaving a glowing mark.
Professor on board is communicating with the new moon of Jupiter, and the cybermen.
Doctor snoops the professor’s cabin, is almost caught.
Sarah is watching TV, and gets jumped by the cybermat, credits roll.
Sarah’s bitten. The Doctor users the transmat to get the poision out of Sarah, except it’s been sabotaged. He tries to quick-fix it.
On the new moon, they’re building a rocket, and wanting to bomb the beacon. They are short on time.
Harry and Sarah are picked up by aliens, and hauled off. Questioned about how many are left on the beacon.
Power struggle on the gold world.
Harry and Sarah break free, because they do. They are chased through tunnels.
Cybermen dock at the beacon, kill the two remaining crew, shoot the Doctor.
Cybermen want to blow up the gold world because of their allergies to the stuff.
For people who fear Cybermen, they sure don’t keep glitter guns around.
The alien guys are not cowards, but they are also not smart. They fall before the Cybermen.
Doctor and two crew from the Beacon keep moving to the central shaft.
The Cybermen look like the galaxy’s most evil accordion players.
Rockfall kills the accomplice and hooks up the Doctor with Harry. Harry tries to take the harness off the Doctor, which will explode. The others stop Harry.
Doctor, Harry, and one of the Beacon guys plan on jumping the cybermen – literally as it turns out – and throwing gold at their vents. This fails. The third from the Beacon takes his harness off and blows himself and the two Cybermen up.
The Doctor shuts off the bombs. The Cybermen come up with a second plan to destroy the moon.
The Doctor transmats back to the station.
The cybermen plan on filling the Beacon with explosives and crashing it into Voga.
The Doctor loads a cybermat with gold dust, and hides, letting the Cyberman stepon it and get zapped with gold. Dead cyberman.
The Vogons see the Beacon moving, and fire their missile early. The Doctor and Sarah are left on the Beacon to die in the explosion. Unsure what will do the most damage, the missile or the Beacon hitting the moon.
They use the Vogon missile to blow up the Cybermen’s ship. The Doctor takes manual control and gets the beacon orbiting Voga.
Finally, the TARDIS arrived. They left the Brigadier with a way to contact them, and he has, so it’s back to Earth they go. TARDIS dematerializes.
