These new BBC discs have ads before each part. Annoying. Part 1 is apparently an extra feature. No, this disc is misbehaving. Must re-scan and see if I can fix it. Otherwise, boo!

Time Lords have intercepted the Doctor, and dumped him on Skaro, given him a Time Ring to return to the TARDIS. There are downed soldiers along the route “forward”, with anachronistic elements. They’re in a minefield and picking their way through it.
A domed city in the distance. Dead propped up in the trenches to make them look dangerous. Artillery and gas shells. Doctor and Harry are taken, Sarah left for dead.
Harry and Doctor use the General to escape. They trigger an alarm but escape anyway. Mutants and soldiers chase them. They are recaptured.
Davros in his creepy chair is overseeing the new warriors, not yet called Daleks. Sarah watches the tests, and knows what Daleks are. She is surrounded by mutants.
Harry and Doctor are searched, and the Time Ring is taken.
Mutants try and kill Sarah. Mutant is killed by a patrol, and the other Mutant and Sarah taken for a work party.
Davros calls all the scicnce guys to a meeting, and the Doctor is able to see. A Dalek. The Dalek will kill them.
The Thals are using slave labor to load a warhead with some toxic explosive.
We get some backstory about what Davros is doing. The future of the Kalids is a mutated thing.
Sarah leads a revolt and escape.
Doctor talks the scientist to letting them escape to get help to stop Davros.
Sarah falls from the scaffolding they’re trying to climb to escape. Credits roll.
She catches a floor and halts her fall., She and one mutant make it up but are caught by the guards at the top. Back to work with them!
Doctor and Harry work on escaping. Harry steps in a giant clam, which they beat up with rocks. They try and break out.
The Doctor and Harry make it to the leaders. They have a meeting. There will be an inquiry. Davros does not object, simply plans on killing them all.
Doctor and Harry sneak into the Thal dome, find Davros talking to the Thals, vying for peace. Want to see conflict end. All he asks is that he be able to help in the rebuilding.
Doctor and Harry free Sarah, and they flee. Doctor stays behind to sabotage rocket. Doctor gets electrocuted. Credits roll.
The rocket is launched at a weakened dome.
Davros sees the Khalid race destroyed, and starts the Dalek race to take over everything.
Daleks invade the Thal city exterminating everything.
Doctor starts a revolution and heads back to the bunker. Harry and Sarah save him from mutants. They head back to the bunker to retrieve the Time Ring.
There’s a few of the scientists against Davros, but he’s ahead of them. The Doctor walks into the Davros. Davros is torturing Harry and Sarah to get information about the Dalek’s weaknesses from the Doctor when the credits roll.
Doctor gives up invaluable foreknowledge.
The science guys rebel. Davros agrees to the terms, fully intending to ignore them.
The Daleks return to the bunker. The Thals prepare to attack, while the Doctor genocides the Dalek incubators. The Doctor is attacked by a Dalek squid-thing and credits roll.
In the end, the Doctor can’t commit genocide.
While Davros speaks to the science guys the Doctor gathers his stuff. Davros tries to get the science guys to destroy everything. They will not.
The Daleks arrive to sway the argument. Four of them, because that’s all the BBC has.
The Thals choose this moment to attack. The mutant goes into warn Doctor et al that there is explosives.
The Doctor follows the traitor to Davros’ office to fetch the tape. He loses the Time Ring. Daleks come.
They realize they’re stuck. They try and get out.
Davros rants as well as any Dalek ever will. The Daleks will hunt and exterminate the prisoners. Doctor goes back to bomb the incubator.
Daleks turn against Davros and go to full scale production.
Doctor sprints out as doors are bombed,
Davros rants at the Daleks. Daleks ignore Davros. Daleks have no pity. They exterminate everyone. Daleks will emerge to rule.
Doctor, Sarah and Harry use the Time Ring. Credits roll. End of serial.
