Original air dates December 1966 through January 1967. Four episodes, all missing. All reconstructions, some better than others. They have the oddest little bits of film among the stills.
The cannonball that’s landed near them does not encourage the Doctor. Ben and Polly still traveling with the Doctor convince him to explore instead of just leaving.
They are captured by the highlanders. Only to have the Doctor capture them.
The Redcoats show up to clean up, and plan on killing them all. One of the highlanders (Alexander, who’s name I just got) is killed trying to distract the English.
The Redcoats show up and prepare to hang everyone, Doctor, companions, and Highlanders. Problem sovled, in their minds.
The leader – Grey – plans on selling the rebels into slavery if he can just get them to just stop killing all the Highlanders. He shows up in time to stop the hanging, and will take them away. They’re being sold as slaves, which is hardly better.
The Doctor tricks his way out, including threatening Grey with a gun. (Later on, turns out the gun wasn’t loaded.) He tricks the servant into letting him go. The Doctor disguises himself as a scullery maid, and remains hidden. First time we’ve seen the Doctor in drag; here I thought that honor belonged to Third.

Ben has escaped, as he can swim.
This Doctor seems to like hats.
Winds up with a big fight on a ship. Everyone has swords and it’s a wild melee, with slides of death everywhere.
The Doctor, Polly and Ben head off to shore, looking for the TARDIS. Jaimie goes with them, and eventually stays with them as they’re being hunted when they find the ship. Of he goes to adventure!
