They find a 20,000 year old seed or something buried in the permafrost. One of the scientists is sure it’s alive.
The Doctor sees pictures and tells them not to touch it until he gets there.
Vines come out of the pod and eat a guy. Leaves him all green. They hope the Doctor can help. The Doctor is full of doom and gloom. His blood is full of plant life. It does not look good for him.
Plant-man strangles Zoologist, probably preventing cure. Burn it in fire, Doctor! Credits roll.
Two additional men arrive, “lost” but there to pick up the pod they found. They’re definite criminals.
Doctor, Biologist, and Sarah go out after the plant-man, don’t find him. Show us the power station.
Yes, baddies intend to blow the power supply to cause damage. They make it to their plane and away.
Doctor unties Sarah, and they trick plant-man into power shed with the bomb. Shed explodes, sends explosion to base, it all blows up real good. Credits roll.
Team B arrives back at base in their snowcat, finds Sarah, rescues she and Doctor.
Chase gets the other pod in London.
The driver of the car sent for the Doctor takes them to …. a quarry …. and plans on killing them in a nice quiet place. The Doctor thumps him. There’s a whole bunch of stuff where they figure out it’s Chase. Chase has armed guards.
Wide lapel suits.
There’s some chasing around the grounds. Sarah will go phone reinforcements, Doctor wants to see the pod again.
Sarah is caught by the guards. Doctor goes back in. Somehow, winds up on the roof, watching. Sarah is to be the “subject” and the millionaire is watching gleefully. Credits roll.
The vine comes out and gets the botanist. Doctor and Sarah run away. Doctor plans on bluffing them with his gun. Botanist turns green and icky. They take him to ‘the cottage’ instead of shooting him.
They take the Doctor to a garden shed with a giant shredder machine in it, and threaten him with it it. Cut away to Botanist, turning into Plant Monster.
Sarah sneaking around. Doctor in compost room. Botanist horribly mutating. Sarah gets to rescue the Doctor!
Nobody saved Botanist, who is now Plant Monster, roaming the grounds and trying to eat people. Looks like it’s succeeding, too. Credits roll.
Eew, it talks. It wants the Doctor.
Chase goes out at dawn to photograph the alien, thinking it won’t harm him. It’ll eat him!
Plant Monster starts to take over other plants. Chase is crazy, wants the plants to win.
Chase’s plants attack them. Doctor arrives with antifungal spray. Chase attacks them, locks them out of the mansion while Plant Monster – now as big as a house – looms over them. Credits roll. Last part!
In the house, they look for Chase. Outside the house, they fire a laser gun at the plant monster. Nothing is working.
They order an air strike before the Plant Monster germinates and spooges pods everywhere. Doctor and Sarah use steam to cook plants and escape just as RAF bombs the monster. Missiles with high explosives finally do the job. FIRE EVERYWHERE.
They take the TARDIS to Cassiopea, miss and wind up in Antarctica again. Funny quip and credits roll.
