Original air date May through July 1967. Seven episodes, only one of which exists; slideshows for the rest. The Doctor and Jaimie start chasing the TARDIS, which has been hauled away on a truck.
The Doctor and Jaimie are kidnapped to 1866 by the Daleks to build a Dalek with human ingenuity, or whatever humanity they lack that causes them to lose over and over. The Daleks blackmail the Doctor by holding the TARDIS hostage.
Tests ensue to figure out what makes humans tick ensue, mostly of Jaime. They’re time-consuming. They build an enhancement that will make a Super Dalek, and are going to implant them in dormant Daleks.
The implanted Daleks are quite odd, curious, friendly, and play games with the Doctor, they are quite changed. All the Daleks leave to go to Skaro, leaving a bomb in the house.
The Doctor can’t stop the bomb so they follow the Daleks to Skaro, using the time machine from the shop. The house explodes.
BBC certainly had no fear of excellent beards.
The Daleks have built “The Dalek Factor” instead of the Human factor. They think they’ve got the Doctor brainwashed to help them spread the Dalek Factor to all humanity. It’s a ruse and they get the Daleks to humanify themselves. The prisoners flee. Daleks versus Daleks as they fight out humanity versus dalekanity.
They finally return to the TARDIS, taking Victoria with them as they flee the burning Dalek city.
