Polly and Ben are convinced they’re in Cornwall, and don’t believe the time travel worth beans. They walk to a local church, and meet a man which the Doctor identifies as from the 17th century. Suspicious sort.
I noticed before, and it’s more obvious in this episode, that William Hartnell is dropping lines and correcting himself. He’s tired, and it shows.
Treasure hunt in a crypt, with a puzzle to solve. Should be right up the Doctor’s alley, except the wretched Squaire has shown up. And Cherub has shown up and kills Kewper. Things get busy after this, and there’s a great stand-of in the crypt where everyone gathers for the denoumont.
I haven’t had much to say about this one.
